How it works

Techzad connects people who need digital work done with the people who do it. What sets it apart from an ordinary marketplace is the assistant, which turns a plain-language description into a proper brief.

If you're hiring

  1. Describe the job in your own words. You don't need to understand the technology. Just say what you want: «a website for a beauty salon with online booking».
  2. Answer the assistant's questions. It asks about the details you might not have thought of: who writes the text, whether you need online payment, whether you have a logo. Answer honestly — «I don't know» is a fine answer.
  3. Get the finished brief. The assistant writes a document with features, stages, a budget range and a timeline. Publish the job and freelancers see it.
  4. Pick who does the work. People apply with a price, a timeline and a bit about themselves. Compare the proposals, look at the profiles and message whoever you like.

Everything is free for clients: posting jobs, the assistant's work, receiving proposals and messaging all cost nothing.

If you're a freelancer

  1. Fill in your profile. Say what you do, add examples of your work and pick your specialisation — that's how clients find you.
  2. Browse the jobs. Every job comes with a finished brief. You can see what's needed instead of dragging details out of the client.
  3. Apply. Give a price and a timeline, and say briefly how you'd approach it. The first proposals each month are free, after that you need a subscription.
  4. Agree the details in chat. Talk it through with the client and get started.

Payment and subscription

We earn from freelancer subscriptions only — we take no cut of your deals. The client and the freelancer settle payment between themselves. See pricing.

Staying safe

Keep the conversation and agree the terms here — that's how we can look into it and help if something goes wrong. Be careful with upfront payments to people you don't know, and don't send the full amount before the work starts.
