For clients
What does it cost me?+
Nothing. Posting a job, having the assistant write the brief, receiving proposals, messaging and choosing someone are all free for clients. We earn from freelancer subscriptions, not from you.
I'm not technical. Can I still write a proper brief?+
That is the whole point of the assistant. You describe what you want in ordinary words — «a website for my salon where people can book» — and it asks the follow-up questions: who writes the text, do you need online payment, do you have a logo. «I don't know» is a fine answer; it goes into the list of things to settle with the freelancer.
Where do the budget numbers come from?+
The assistant estimates how much work the project is, and we turn that into a range using our own rates. It is a starting point for the conversation, not a quote. The real price comes from the people who apply.
Who are the freelancers?+
Mostly developers and designers from Russia and neighbouring countries, including students taught by the founder. Rates there are lower than in Western Europe or the US for the same work — that is the main reason to hire here. Profiles marked with a tick have been checked by us personally.
Do you hold my money until the work is done?+
No. We are not an escrow service and we never touch the money for your project. You agree terms with the freelancer and pay them directly. Because of that, be sensible: agree milestones, and do not send the full amount before anything has been delivered.
Can I take the brief and hire someone else?+
Yes. The brief is yours. Copy it, send it to any contractor, use it as a checklist. We do not lock it to the Platform.
For freelancers
What does a subscription cost?+
Three proposals a month are free. Beyond that: $9 for the student plan, $19 for unlimited proposals, $39 for early access to jobs and a boosted profile. See pricing.
Do you take a percentage of my work?+
No — 0% commission. Upwork takes up to 15%, PeoplePerHour up to 20%. We take nothing. What the client pays you is what you keep, and we never sit between you.
Will I be charged automatically?+
No. A plan is bought for a fixed period and does not renew itself. We do not store your card. Three days before it ends you get a reminder, and you decide.
Can I get a refund?+
No. Access starts the moment you pay, and you confirm that at checkout, which is why the paid period is not refundable. Three free proposals a month exist precisely so you can try the Platform before paying anything.
The Platform is new. Is it worth applying?+
That is exactly the argument. Right now a client sees two or three proposals instead of thirty, and every job is visible to everyone. When it fills up, that advantage disappears.
General
What happens if there's a dispute?+
Keep the conversation on the Platform — then we can read it and help. Write to us through support. We are not a court and cannot force anyone to pay, but we can block accounts that behave badly, and repeat offenders lose access.
What happens to my data?+
We store what you enter yourself and the technical basics — where you came from, which pages you opened. We do not sell it and do not use it for advertising. Details are in the privacy policy.
One account for both hiring and working?+
One. Pick a role when you sign up and add the second one later in settings — the same profile works for both.
